The Brown family of Novato, the winners of the new roof, first heard of the program here on Patch. Here is their story:

I want to take a moment to let you know how pleased my entire family is with the new roof.

Overall, the entire experience has been surreal. I mean, we won a roof, who does that? This spring when our large oak trees fell and damage to the home, fences and yard, we really didnt know what we were going to do to repair; not to mention that the entire ordeal was traumatic for the family that was home at the time, my wife and two daughters. Then this opportunity came up, thank you Patch.com for letting us know about NoRoofLeftBehind. Then, all the friends and neighbors that voted and supported us the whole way, it made us feel very special.

From the first day that you came over, you always explained the process and kept up informed every step of the way. There were never any questions that were unanswered and you were always prompt in returning any phone calls. Your team worked quickly and had the whole job done well ahead of expectations. Neighbors have commented how great the new roof looks too. Even the small details and effort that were taken, like fixing the rain gutters that were damaged by the tree, were above and beyond.
